Problems for Thai Learners of English
There are many problems in learning English and some of these problems are specific for Thai (or Asian) learners, whereas others are problems for all learners.
As I teach English in Thailand and this website is about learning English in Bangkok, I will concentrate on the more Thai specific problems.
There are basically two types of problems: Grammar and Pronunciation.
English grammar differs from Thai grammar in several ways. For example: In English the adjective comes before the noun, whereas in Thai it comes after the noun. So we say “A beautiful girl” not as some Thai beginners would say “A girl beautiful.”
